This guide is intended to steer you through the process of using the site and give you some important information about our terms and conditions of purchase. We are required to give you this information and we have tried to be as clear as possible. Ordering your books
Please choose a book by using either the search facility if you know the title, author or subject, otherwise look in the browse categories on the left of the screen. When you have selected the book you would like to buy, click 'add to cart'. (You may return to look at more books before proceeding to check out; your selections will remain in your shopping cart.)

The site lists products in UK prices and delivery charges.

You will need to have cookies enabled on your web browser for the shopping cart to work. This is simply to enable the server to store the contents of your basket while you continue to shop. They will not reveal personal details about you or your computer's set-up. Cookies do not contain executable code and cannot be used for infecting your computer with a virus. If you find the cart is not storing your order, please check your privacy settings by going to "Tools>Internet options" on your browser and checking the privacy tab. This provides you with options to accept or reject cookies.

When you are ready to proceed to the check out stage, click "check out", you will then be then asked to register with us, if you have not already done so. This will mean you will not have to type in your details every time you want to by a book with Windhorse Publications, just your email address and a password that you have chosen yourself. Your details will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and we will not pass them on to anyone else. We do not store your credit card details.

Payment and Delivery
Secure Pay will take your payment on our behalf. They use an encrypted security system, which means that your credit card details will be safe. Once we have received confirmation of your payment, the process of sending your books will then begin.

It will take 1 to 2 working days to process your order. Delivery times will then depend on where you live. After processing, your order should arrive in 3 to 5 working days in the UK and in Europe, 2 working weeks in the USA and Canada and 28 working days for the rest of the world (dependent on local delivery services).

Returns
If you are not happy with your purchase, Windhorse Publications has a "no quibbles" returns policy. Please contact Windhorse Publications for a return number within 30 days of purchase by email. Once you have contacted us, we will send a return label for you to return the book(s) with. Please pack the book carefully using the return label provided by Windhorse Publications. It would be very helpful to us if you could send a note with the return stating why you are sending it back. The book(s) must be returned in resaleable condition. If you have received the book(s) in a damaged condition please let us know when you contact us if you would like a replacement or a refund. We will refund the postage for damaged book(s) received by you; for other returns, we ask you to pay for the postage.
