Meditation for Recovery

This Sunday 17th of November, Valerie Mason-John and Dr. Paramabandhu Groves will be releasing their 21 Day Meditation Recovery Course to listen to or download from The Buddhist Centre Online. It is a short course in meditation to accompany their book, Eight Step Recovery: Using the Buddha’s Teachings to Overcome Addiction, which will be published in January. The meditations are each about 15 minutes long and cover a range of topics including mindfulness, loving-kindness, ethics, wisdom and mantras.

You can follow the course as the meditations are made available from the 17th of November. If you are doing the Urban Retreat this week, the course could be a good way of continuing your practice beyond the retreat itself.

The course is entirely free, but if you’d like to make a donation to the Eight Step Recovery project, please visit our website.
