In order to place an order or create an account on our website you must provide your name, address, phone number, and email address. We will not pass these details on to any company other than the payment providers, Braintree and PayPal, and our distributors BookSource and Ingram, who will deliver your order. Booksource’s privacy policy can be found here and Ingram’s is here.

Your information will be used for the following purposes only:

  • To fulfil delivery of your order and subsequent orders if applicable.
  • To complete payment for your order and subsequent orders if applicable.

Email newsletter

We also maintain an email newsletter. Subscription to this is optional and separate from having a customer account on our site. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the links in each email. In doing so, we will remove your email address from our newsletter database, but not from our main account holder database. When subscribing to the newsletter your email address is transferred to Mailchimp, whose privacy policy can be viewed here.

Transaction information

All transaction information relating to payment for your order will be processed securely by Braintree or PayPal. Paypal’s User Agreement is here, and their Privacy Policy can be viewed here. Braintree’s Privacy Policy is here.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Transfer of data outside the EEA

We may transfer your data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Such transfers are only when necessary, for the purposes of processing payments, backing up website data, and maintaining our email newsletters.

How we use cookies

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site.

We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to our customers’ needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.

Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.

You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website.
