Abundant Treasures: A hundred jewels chosen by a hundred Order members

This book, created in celebration of the hundredth anniversary of Sangharakshita’s birth, is a collection of a hundred extracts from his prose writings and poetry chosen by a hundred members of the Triratna Buddhist Order he founded, each contributor introducing and explaining their choice in their own way.

The result is a unique anthology of a wide range of Sangharakshita’s written work, from the very well-known to the quite obscure, together with the perceptions and heart-openings of those whose lives have been changed by his words. Contributors come from at least 17 countries, and have between them been in the Order for more than two thousand years, and they contribute a rich seam of enjoyment, inspiration, humour, revelations and insights in this collection of abundant treasures.

The collection was compiled by Vidyadevi and Vidyaruchi, and published in 2025 by Ibis.
