HOW TO ORDER
Individual orders
- Click the Add to basket button on any product on this website to purchase your book, eBook, or eGift card.
- Click on the shopping icon in the top right menu to view your order at any time.
- You can adjust your order on the basket page, remove books, or add multiple copies.
- You can pay via PayPal or by Visa, Mastercard or American Express. All payments are processed securely by PayPal/Braintree.
- All orders are stated in Great British Pounds Sterling.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Shipping charges are calculated based on the weight and destination of your purchase. For example, a standard paperback book usually weighs between 0.25kg and 0.5kg.
Shipping prices have increased in 2026 and we are doing all we can to keep prices down for our customers.
Based on current distributor charges, shipping a standard paperback costs:
- £4.60 to anywhere in the UK (£4.60 is charged on all UK orders up to 2kg)
- £10-11 to countries in the EU (where possible we ship orders from Germany to help avoid EU customs charges)
- £20-31 to World Zone 1 (North America (excl. US), South America, Africa, the Middle East, and most of Asia)
- £21-29 to World Zone 2 (includes Australia, New Zealand and Singapore)
- N/A to World Zone 3 (US only) - we have restricted sales to the US from our website to help customers avoid paying high import charges levied on goods coming from outside US. US-based customers can now purchase the majority of our books from retailers within the US. We recommend using bookshop.org.
The shipping costs increase incrementally depending on the weight of your book or on how many books you are ordering. The full charges will be displayed when you enter your delivery address details on the cart/order page before purchase.
Free shipping thresholds
Free shipping applies to orders made by individual customers above the following thresholds*:
- UK: free shipping after £100 spent
- EU: free shipping after £125 spent
- International: N/A. We can only accept website orders of books weighing up to 2KG (equivalent to 3-4 books). If customers outside the UK/EU wish to place larger orders they are advised to contact us so we can find the most cost-effective option of shipping.
*Please note that full shipping is charged for bundles of Sangharakshita's Complete Works, as these books are priced as affordably as possible, and we are therefore unable to cover carriage.
Delivery times
Estimated delivery times for your purchases are as follows:
- UK: allow at least 5 days for delivery
- EU: allow at least 7 days for delivery
- International: allow up to 14 days for delivery
Your order may come in separate batches due to being fulfilled from different distribution centres, but this does not affect what you pay for shipping as you will only be charged for one delivery. If you have not received all of your books within these time periods please contact us on in**@*******************ns.com, stating your order reference number and your name.
EU deliveries
We are now able to ship a large portion of our catalogue from within the EU. However, the books listed below are only available from the UK and therefore you may have to pay custom clearance charges and/or taxes upon delivery. This is out of our control. The rates you will have to pay depend on the VAT charged on books in the country to which the books are delivered.
Books that are available only from UK: all volumes of Sangharakshita's Complete Works, Puja, Starting on the Buddhist Path by Sagaraghosa, Meeting the Buddhas by Vessantara, The Bodhicaryavatara, and Gautama Buddha by Vishvapani.
RETURNS POLICY
Many of our books are printed-on-demand so we cannot accept returns on all titles. Please contact us at in**@*******************ns.com within 30 days of purchase to see if your order is eligible for return or refund.
